A Guide to Easter Egg Searching Black Flag

Hello everyone, welcome to another post of ' A Guide to Easter Egg Searching.' In this post, we will look into the game ‘Black Flag’ from the famous Assassins Creed series. The game itself was released back in 2013, but both of its story and the graphics are extraordinary even compared to today's standards. The story is set in the 18th century in the Caribbean Sea during the Gold Age of Piracy and follows the legendary pirate Edward Kenway who is working to establish a pirate Uptopia, free from both British and Spanish controls. The map of this game consists of a number of islands but mostly the vast ocean itself, therefore, it would be a surprise not to find any Easter eggs in it.

1. Giant Squid VS White Whale

The giant squid is the nightmare for every sailor with terrifying legend and tales claim that giant tentacles rise from the ocean and drag the whole ship down into the abyss with it. In this case, you can witness a battle between two largest creature in the ocean with your own Eyes.

After you completed Chapter six of memory one, this ship-wreck site will be available for exploring. If you swim into the remains of this boat and stay very still for a few seconds, you will be able to see this awesome cut-scene of a Giant squid attacks and kills a white whale.

2.The Movie Poster

On the second floor of a company called “Abstitro Entertainment”, you can find an Assassin's Creed movie poster. It is sad to think that Ubisoft had worked on this movie since 2013 because the Assassin's Creed movie form 2017 turned out to be so disappointing.
3.John From IT
I personally found this Easter egg the most interesting because it was so well hidden. In Fact, it took months for players to notice it even after Ubisoft publicly announced it was in the game. To find this Easter egg, you will need a PC version of the game and look into the game’s soundtrack file. In that file, you will find a one-minute voice recording of a man called John from the IT department. In this short recording, John talks directly toward us players and ferociously criticized us for being a disgusting human being. After that, he even tried to persuade players to become an astronaut. I have left a link in the comments section for you to watch this Easter egg for yourself.

I hope you enjoyed this three Easter eggs from Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag and have a nice weekend. Don’t forget to check out this game for yourself because it definitely has superior quality over some of the more recent games.

A Guide to Easter Egg Searching Hitman

Hello everyone, welcome to another blog of “ A Guide to Easter Egg Searching.”  In this blog, we will be focusing on Hitman, a stealth video game series developed by the Danish company IO Interactive. The story of Hitman follows Agent 47, a cloned supersoldier, to travelling around the globe assassinating people for profits. This franchise is well known due to its excellent story and elegant maps, naturally, it will also deliver some good quality Easter eggs. In this blog, we will search Hitman’s Japan and Thailand map for some special Easter eggs.

1.Godzilla    Since Japan is the birthplace of this world famous monster, it makes sense to have Godzilla as an Easter egg. Just like defeating a monster, it is considered a harder Easter egg to trigger. You will first climb up the Japanese hospital’s roof.
When you made it, look for a flickering lantern, you will need to walk in this specific panter to inclose on it. It is crucial to follow this pattern because if you made a mistake or decided to go straight to the edge of the roof, the lantern will disappear forever unless you start from the last checkpoint.

I assume you made it to the edge of the roof without making any mistake and it is normal to have a few tries. Now, you can shoot the lantern with any weapon you got on your hand and stare at the horizon because you will find yourself looking at a living Godzilla.Yeah, the Godzilla is ugly.

2. La Cucaracha If you have ever been to Thailand, you are likely to remember some close encounter with insects in various shapes and sizes. Try to be a bit more friendly to small insect because this Easter egg will show you the biggest cockroach, or it might even be the biggest living thing ever.

If you want to see this Easter egg for yourself, you need to start with acquiring this the exterminator outfit. The easiest way to simply attach the driver of the brown van with BUG SWAT printed on the side. Once you got this outfit, you will need to talk to the hotel manager which is this lady wearing green. You will have to ask her to evacuate the second floor so you can “do your thing.” After that, you will be able to make your way into the very back of the music studio on the second floor without anyone stopping you. Once you are in, look for a keyboard, you will be able to interact with this keyboard and play a tune called ‘La Cucaracha’ which translate to ‘The cockroach.’A shrill wail is a signal that you have done your work properly. With your eyes open big, in the front of the hotel, you will be able to see a giant cockroach looming over the city.

Thank you very much for your attention. I hope you can enjoy this Easter Eggs and have a very nice holiday.

A Guide to Easter Egg Searching Battlefield I

Battlefield Easter Egg:

Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog of 'A Guide to Easter Egg Searching.' In this blog, I will introduce you to Battlefield I. It is the most successful FPS ( first person shooter) game made by EA.    s classic Multiplayer game was set in the WW1 era, which consist primitive fire arms and brutal fighting techniques.  There aren't many much Easter eggs to look for in this game because players spend the majority of their time on killing each other, but there is one particular Easter egg that I found interesting and worth sharing. In this incredible Easter egg, you will be able to wake up the big white the awesome movie JAWS.

The first thing you need to do is find at least 3 other boring friend who are willing to play the game with you, because this Easter egg requires some teamwork. After you managed to do that, enter the map called "Fort de Vaux" and look for three identical red valves in the following locations:

                       1. At the rubble corner on Fort de Vaux

                           2. On the A capture point where the ground can be blow away with a explosives

                       3.In a corrido between Capture D and E

Image result for battlefield 1 sharkThe three of you will need to turn all the valves at exact same time. If it sis done correctly, a puddle out side the Fort will be filled with muddy water.

The next step is to wake up the beast, you can do this by throwing a few grenade in any toilet found in the Fort. After that, in order to  lure it  onto the surface, you are required to make a few blood sacrifices. You can kill a few of your friend with a knife in the newly formed muddy puddle and make sure there is blood every where. when the puddle turned completely red, you know the shark is ready to come out. When a careless soldier enters into the water, a gigantic shark will leap out of the surface kill him instantly.

A Guide to Easter Egg Searching PUBG II

PUBG Part 2:

Hello everyone, welcome to PUBG Easter egg part 2. Be sure to read this because not only I will ravel PUBG's background stroy, I will also provide some tips that can improve your gaming experience.

In the previous post, we already had some crucial information on the location of this place. The informations are listed below.

When USSR and nuclear radiation comes together, there seems to be only two explenation. The first theory is that this island was nuked for unknown reason. This theory is quickly abandoned because there is no sign of any landscapes that suggest a nuke has once exploded. The second theory belives that the map was based on the famous Chernobyl disaster. Chernobly is a nulear power plant located in Ukraine. The 4th reactor was leaked on 26 April 1986; its nuclear radiation directly killed 31 men and caused more than 4000 slow and painful deaths, similar to what a player will experience in the game. There is more than enough evidence to support this theory and they are listed in the following paragraph.

1 The island was once in USSR's control.
2 The island is contaminanted by deadly nulear radiation.
3 The island was once well develpoed and populated

A building called school was located in the center of PUBG’s map. It is one of the best place for landing due to its geographic advantage, but the building itself are like direct copy of Middle School Number 3 in Chernobyl.

The swimming pool in PUBG also shares some similarity with the historical picture, their shared simularity cannot be explained as a coincident.

The most important symbols of Chernobyl in PUBG is this abandoned place labeled as ‘Power House’ on the map. It was recognized to be the 4th reactor which broke and caused the disaster. Based on those ruins, this place indeed seems like the center of the disaster.

Knowing the background story of PUBG might not help you to win the game, but if you pay close attention to the  following tips, you might be able to overpower the other 99 opponents and survive.
  1. Always play on the lowest graphic settings possible
PUBG is not a good time to show of your computer's power, because realistic grass effect will provide cover for your enemyes and result in a suprise attack. Without the distractions of these unnecessary vegetations, it will be much easier for you to aim at a enemy who is hiding in long grass. In the first picture, you can see most of the land without grass blocking your vision. On the second picture, it will be easier for your enemyes to camofluge themsleves in the grass.

 2. Put on your headphone
Although it is not necessary to purchase an expensive headset just for gaming, a decent headphone will increase your ability to identify your enemy. Because PUBG’s excellent sound track system, it is possible to determine the general location of a gunfire. Some skilled player can even manage to identify the type of firearms that was fired.

  3. Look for vehicles
When you need to choose between looting a house or hijack a vehicles, the smart move is to run for the car. Cars in PUBG are the most valuable resources. A car can offers you fast transportation, act as a cover in crossfire and it is simply a pleasure to run over other people.

After you finished reading this blog, I wish you to remember that I am the first person who found the actual location PUBG. I will also be glad if my tips helps you to do better in the game, but in main time, keep looking forward to another blog of ‘A Guide To Easter Egg Searching,’ until next time, goodbye.

A Guide to Easter Egg Searching PUBG

PUBG Easter eggs:

Hello everyone! Welcome back to ‘A Guide to Easter Egg Searching’. Although the last post is a bit of a disaster, this series will not be affected.

Recently, a multiplayer survival game called ‘Playerunknows Battleground’ (PUBG) has become very popular along with its iconic victory phrase, “Winner winner chicken dinner”. Although players around the globe seem to be addicted to this game and spend numerous hours on it, no one really knows the actual location where this game takes place. Before I can unravel the secret/Easter egg of this game, it is necessary to introduce some basic ideas of PUBG.

PUBG has only one map, but it is MASSIVE. This map is around 64 square kilometres and surrounded by ocean. (It is an island, just in case you don’t understand.) The main objective of this game is fairly easy----TO SURVIVE! As a player, you will parachute out of a plane along with other 99 other players. After you land, you need to look for a weapon and kill everyone else. The only weird part is something called ‘Safe Zone’ which is an area that shrinks over time. Players outside of the Safe Zone will receive damage over time, so it is always smart to keep moving and stay in it.

It is hard to explore the map of PUBG due to other aggressive players who are constantly trying to kill me. After many deaths, I finally managed to travel all over the map. What I found are many symbols that suggest this place was once under the Soviet Union's control but has been abandoned for many years. Structures such as schools and houses tell me that this island was populated by many people and they had a comfortable life, but I spot no sign of any civilian, only the crumble and deserted remains of their once home. Where did residents on this island go? The answer to this question is simple: they are all dead. Even more, they have all been killed at the same time. There isn’t any evidence of events such as battle or plague that can kill so many people at once. Working vehicles and weapons that are scattered over the floor also support my hypothesis, because if people are fleeing from this place, it would be ridiculous not to take their cars and guns. Just as my search is coming to a dead end, I realize the answer is plain and simple. The key information is provided by the concept of Safe Zone! Once a player is out of the Safe Zone, they will continuously receive damage caused by unknown blobs of light. These symptoms are almost identical to those who were exposed to strong nuclear radiation because radiation in real life is capable of causing blood poisoning and retinal detachment.
After linking the Soviet Union to radioactivity, I instantly found what I believe is the real-life location that PUGB is based on

I thank you for your patience in reading this. Although the final location of PUGB hasn't been reviewed, you are always welcome to make your own hypothesis. The final answer will be reviewed in the next blog, along with some helpful tips for you to beat other players in survival and finally get the delicious chicken dinner.

Netflix of Games

Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog about video game. Instead of writing about Easter eggs, I want to talk about something else, something that will change how we play and purchase our video games.
Recently EA announced a subscription service, which basically means that player who pays a small monthly fee can have access to all EA produced Games such as Assassin’s Creed, Battlefield and Fifa series. This idea could be the ultimate solution to many major problems that bother the entire gaming society, but it still needs more collaborative work with companies such as Ubisoft and Microsoft in5 order to become the Netflix of video games.
The biggest problem that gaming industry face is that most games in the market seem to be sharing the same style and mechanic.  For example, Can you imagine a game that you can shoot at random people while Polices try to kill you? It is possible that GTAV or watchdogs 2 instantly flash over your eyes, but I wasn’t talking about any particular games at all because almost all open-world-games share this kind of gameplay experience. Peoples are likely to only purchase one of them which seem to have best graphics. As a result, game companies will make less profit, and this greatly damaged the industry because, in order to beat their competitors, game companies such as EA and Rockstar are forced to put more money into upgrading their games’ graphic and visual effect instead of putting their effort into developing new style and experience.
Before we get into EA’s subscription service, let us understand Netflix’s benefit over the entire entertainment industry. Netflix are successful because it offers content that traditional TY cannot deliver, such as series that are too violent or offensive to be showed on TY. For example, without Netflix ‘House of Cards’ will be quite different than what we have because cursing and critic of politic will be canceled in order to be appropriate on TY. When Netflix rolls around, many series that might be popular were sponsored by Netflix. Netflix won’t need to worry about taking too much of a risk because there are many major movies and shows to guarantee its survival. On the other hand, those unnoticed series will have a chance to enter public’s sight; even if it is a failure, Netflix as a whole won’t be critically damaged.
The Game’s Netflix provides a chance for every game a chance to be played because with an unlimited access to all games, players won’t need to worry about spending too much money are similar games. Even better, some small beget games with a creative mechanic can attract more people’s attention, even though it lacks a visually stunning graphics. This type of market can urge development of creative games because it will grasp games’ interests once people decided to give it a try.
Although EA’s gaming Netflix seems too perfect to fail, it will still need to work with other studios and companies to create a massive non-exclusive, ever-expanding library of games. If all companies such as Ubisoft and Sony also decided to establish their own platform of this kind of games, and have titles fragmented between them, then this idea will fail because gamers will still face the choice of either buy the service that consists GTA or Watchdogs.
Thank you very much for reading about some of my opinion about the Subscription Services. Please be excited about the next post that will continual ‘A Guide to Easter Egg Searching’ which will come very soon.

A Guide to Easter Egg Searching Skyrim

Skyrim Easter eggs:

Hello everyone! Welcome to another blog of “A Guide to Easter Egg Searching”. In this blog, I will introduce you to Skyrim, a world populated with humans, monsters, and even dragons. Skyrim is the fifth game in “The Elder Scrolls” series; it was created and published by “Bethesda Game Studio” on November 11th, 2011. This game takes place in Skyrim, a province of the Empire on a fictional continent called Tamriel.

Although Skyrim is all about fighting and killing, it is always fun to take a break from violence to appreciate the game developer’s effort by searching for some Easter Eggs. In this blog, I am going to introduce you to three classic Easter Eggs.

1. King Arthur

Related imageIn the 6th   century, King Arthur acquired a sword called Soul Caliber by pulling it out from a rock. This sword fought against the King of Saxons and his evil blade. Later in King Arthur’s life, his favorite sword was broken, so he ordered goblins that lived under a lake to repair it. With great effort, the underwater-goblin-blacksmith finally managed to repair King Arthur’s sword and delivered it to him by holding the sword above water. In Skyrim, if you move to this location, you will find a sword embedded on a pile of rock and surrounded by human corpses. It is even more obvious that this is a reference to King Arthur’s sword, because the name of the sword you will find is called“The Legendary Sword”.

Bleakwind Basin, there will be a pond with a skeletal arm holding a sword, which is a reference to the Aquatic goblin in the Legend of King Arthur. Apparently, he is a few hundred years late to pick up his sword, because the flesh of this poor goblin was completely gone and only bones were left to wait for his master.

2.Star Wars

Image result for frost troll skyrimSkyrim is widely appreciated due to the sheer size of its map. Players are able to travel from deserts to swamps, from forests to mountain peaks, and even to snow-covered highlands. If you happen to also be a Star Wars fan, take some time to travel to the Bleakcoast Cave. If you venture into this cave, you will find yourself facing a gigantic Frost Troll. After gruesome battles, multiple tries and many painful deaths, I assume you will finally manage to kill this monster. After some conscientious observation, you may find this cave oddly similar to the cave that Luke Skywalker was trapped in during the fourth movie “Empire Strikes Back”. In one of the scenes in the monster’s cave, Luke was dangled upside down surrounded by animal remains. He reached for his lightsaber that was stuck in snow by the Force. Sadly, in Skyrim’s world, there are no such things such as the Force, because we can only find his skeleton remains and a sword that is left on the floor.

3.The Three Billy Goats Gruff

The Three Billy Goats Gruff is a popular bedtime story for children. It talks about three clever goats tricking and killing a stupid Troll by kept telling the troll that there will be a fatter goat coming to him. Eventually, the last goat is so fat that it pushes the Troll under the bridge and drowns him. You will be able to find this Easter egg by patrolling the area at the very west end of Skyrim’s map, directly to the south of castle Markarth and near the Purewater Run. There will be three goats walking over a bridge with a dead troll under it.

These are the three Easter eggs that I find interesting in the game Skyrim. Please keep following my blog and have fun while checking out these Easter Eggs. If you find any interesting Easter Egg, feel free to share them in the comments below.
